This is my public journal of my trips.

Currently, I visited Tokyo in the August of 2007 just to visit my friend Yuriko and her family. In June of 2008, I embarked on another adventure to Tokyo to study at Waseda University. Both trips are recorded in this journal, along with pictures, what I'm studying, and other things about Japan.

In 2009, this has officially become a travel blog of all of my trips, rather than just Japan, since I will be traveling to Beijing and Shanghai in the summer.

For the record, I have taken one semester of Japanese (after visiting the country) and two semesters of Chinese Mandarin. I'm actually an English major, but I'd like to teach English as a second language to foreigners that come to the US. Potentially, I'd like to pick up a degree in linguistics at some point as well. But for now, I'm content with being a nerdy college student with a decent case of wanderlust.
